Let's paint the walls this summer ..

Let's just paint our heart out on the walls..Let's make them flamboyant!!!!

Let the walls speak to you about summer.. sing a summery song to you!!!!

Let them recharge your energies which got drenched in the hot summer!!

Let the walls dazzle like the fresh blooms in summer!!

Let the walls relive the glory they once enjoyed!!

Let the walls take you on a imaginary vacation to the beautiful blue Greek island of Mykonos every time you look at them !!!!

Some very bold colors! But I guess if you wanna flaunt your personality one should go for it. I liked the picture with the bougainvilleas in the backdrop.

We did our basement rec room in a very daring palette of colors, all very bright, saturated, and clear: hot pink, tomato orange, sunny yellow, aqua, almost neon lime green, and grape purple. Whole walls of the tomato, yellow, and hot pink, aqua trim, purple or lime green doors. I originally wanted the trim to be lime green, but it didn't cover well enough. I almost chickened out when the first color, the red orange, went up, but fortunately, I hung in there, because when it was done, it really worked. Our cool basement feels like a warm, sunny fiesta!

My son had the last word, though, when he came home from college, took one look at what we did and exclaimed, "It looks like a clown exploded!" LOL Maybe so, but it's been that way for years, now, and we still love it.

Hint: keep your eyes open at the supermarket for colors and color combinations. I took part of ours from a Swiffer box!

Blessings,
Orea
