Would you like to join me for breakfast?

I would love to wake up to this kind of breakfast every morning .. Some days I feel like treating myself with a special breakfast to start a happy day..  with a hot cup of tea  and a home baked green tea cake..

some pine cones arranged in the corner of the tea reminding of the chilly weather everywhere except the tropics..

fresh flowers from the garden..

star shaped green tea cake which I baked yesterday night..

All arranged in a wooden tray !!! Bliss!! Would you like to join me?

You can find the green tea cake recipe here. Tip: Use only 1 or 1&1/2 tsp green tea powder in the cake recipe to avoid very strong green tea taste. Also I added green color to the cake batter to make it look greener:)
