The swiss breakfast

Today let's talk about swiss breakfast. The swiss are very athletic, outdoor loving and fitness conscious people. It is not just any breakfast but it's a power breakfast .

The daily breakfast includes muesli which has wonderful yummy grains, oats, dried fruits like raisins, strawberry, coconut pieces, hazelnut and almonds and chocolate flakes/chips. These come in different flavors and varieties. Having a bowl of muesli with milk will keep you from feeling hungry for longer hours than cornflakes.

Croissant and breads come in so many different varieties. Made from corn, rye, wheat etc are the sold fresh in cute little bakeries..Sigh! I am gonna miss this! These are eaten with butter or just plain.

Cheese ..yes..cheese for breakfast. These also come in lot of varieties.

Boiled/ par boiled eggs or scrambled egg, Juice/Tea/coffee, fresh fruits are the usual staple on holidays just like in any other country.
Some fabulous breakfast serving ideas.. Quail egg on spinach rolls...so tempting..
