So this weekend I thought of ending the problem once in for all and get organized.. I made a magnetic notepad with a pencil holder.. Here's how I made it!!
I used
a notepad which I had bought in a sale for few cents..
a magnet which I had got free on Choco-pie ..
a pencil.
Apply glue to the back of the notepad ..
Press the magnet down and let it dry
Start rolling the pencil in the front cover
Glue the roll to the top part of the notepad .. That's it!! Voila !! Its done!!
There it is .. I am all set for making the holiday task lists and the resolutions list as well!!

Nice idea! Faced the same problem,I collected scrap paper stapled and hanged it in the hanger that I have in my kitchen to hang cups, etc and placed a pencil in the cutlery stand. In your DIY pencil and paper are together, good idea!
