Comtemporary Gulmohar

This painting is inspired by Gulmohar or Delonix regia tree..I researched a lot of pictures of Gulmohar trees... I finally came up with a contemporary version of mine.. I had not fretted in contemporary direction before ....this is my first time!!

I used several layers of colors which gives it a very lovely texture.. Not sure if it can be seen in the photograph.. I painted the base coat and then thick strokes of 2 shades of red, 1 maroon coat and finally topped it with yellow!!

Red is one of the colors which gives out lot of energy.. The spiral effect on the background gives out a vibrant look as well!!

Summer swings

Worrying about rains or winter.. You can enjoy swings in winter too..How about indoor swings.. Every kid would want these swings in their rooms.. I am not a kid but I want one too:)
